The Waves was an excellent choice for my business trip. the apartment was spacious, well-equipped, and close to the sea. the welcoming box with wine and food was a delightful touch. the owner, who runs a nearby antique shop, was friendly and accommodating. It served as a great base for exploring the north of the island. Bars and restaurants were also within walking distance.
Felt like visiting family, no complaints at all.

The hostel is incredibly cute with private curtains in the rooms for added privacy. It is well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and very clean and comfortable. the best part is the terrace overlooking the ocean with lounging chairs, perfect for relaxing. the owners are friendly and helpful, leaving pastries and fruit for everyone. Parking is available across the road.
Felt very cared for, no complaints whatsoever.

Shared lounge and private beach area: I felt like a celebrity in their exclusive VIP section, sipping cocktails on a pristine beach. Who needs a red carpet when you have your own private beach at The Waves?. Kitchen in selected rooms: I unleashed my inner master chef and felt like Gordon Ramsay cooking up a storm with the top-notch kitchen facilities provided. I even contemplated opening my own restaurant!
Limited towels available: Could use more towels.

I had a fantastic stay at this seaside hostel in Sao Vicente. The location was absolutely beautiful, with the sound of waves soothing me throughout my stay. The host, Celio, was incredibly kind and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The free breakfast food provided was a nice touch. The private rooms, though not fully sealed off, were spacious and comfortable. The price was unbeatable and the parking conveniently located near the property. I had a relaxing and enjoyable time at The Waves.

This hostel is a gem! Private room, plenty of storage space, cozy decor, giant living room, communal kitchen. Charming staff and a fantastic location near the beach and restaurants. Definitely coming back!
Felt very homey, nothing too much trouble.

The location of the hotel is excellent, as it is right next to the ocean. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea from the terrace. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens and spacious areas for sitting and working. The owner is friendly and welcoming, providing helpful information and even a picnic basket with fruits and vegetables.
There is a lack of privacy in the rooms, as the walls do not extend to the ceiling and the doors are only curtains.

I had such a wonderful stay at this beachfront property. The sound of the waves crashing was incredibly soothing and created the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. The host, Celio, was incredibly kind and welcoming, even staying up late to greet me and offering me a free beer. The location of the property was also fantastic, with beautiful sea views and just a short drive to the town of Sao Vicente. The room itself was comfortable and well-proportioned, and the price was unbeatable. I had an amazing experience at The Waves and would highly recommend it to others.

I recently stayed at a wonderful hostel in a beautiful location. The view was amazing, with the ocean visible and audible at all times. The hostel offered a variety of rooms, including private options with single cabins. I loved the small touches like having fruit and snacks in the kitchen, as well as the terrace facing the ocean and the chill-out area. The dining tables that overlooked the sea were also a nice touch. The owner, Celio, was incredibly kind and friendly. it was a great place to relax and unwind after a day of hiking, and a perfect base for exploring the North and West of the island.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
